Payment

Deposit

A 25% Reservation Deposit is required at the time of booking. The Deposit is non-refundable.
Reservation Deposit payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.

Balance payment

Can be made by either by Bank transfer or Paypal Full payment of outstanding balance will be required 6 weeks or more before the Cave rental commences.
Cash on arrival in euros only we do not accept credit cards.
Non-payment of balance will be deemed as a cancellation and will result in loss of deposit.
For payment of late bookings, cash on arrival in full will be required.
Prices include gas, electricity and water, heating and logs for the wood burner in the lounge area & Master bedroom.

Cancellation

Must be received in writing, and 25% deposit payment shall result in loss and non-returnable

6 weeks or more before arrival date 50% refund of balance payment. Note, the deposit is non-refundable.
4 to 6 weeks before rental, 25% refund of balance payment. Note, deposit was non-refundable Less than 4 weeks before arrival date: No refund
We would strongly recommend that all guests take out holiday insurance, which contains cancellation cover.
In the case of early departure or non-use of the Cave House, the renter is not entitled to a refund.
If Cuevas Helena Holidays cancel your rental booking at any time leading up to your holiday rental, a full refund of all monies paid, (including deposit) will be made.

Guest Arrivals

Arrival and Departure

Guests can check in after 2 pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 11 am on the day of departure, (We try to be flexible with these times but our ability to be flexible will depend on other guest bookings).
It is expected that the Cave House is kept in good order during guests stay and on departure is left in a clean and tidy condition

Check-in Procedure

We ask for proof of ID on arrival passport or Domestic Utilities bill with an address not longer than 6 months old.

Cuevas Helena Cave Rules

We are aware we that you are on holidays but we have to have some rules in place for both parties.

Guest Behaviour

If in the opinion of the proprietor any party causes extreme nuisance or disturbance to others or wilful damage to, they will be requested to leave the accommodation with immediate effect and with no refund of the balance.

Swimming pool

The swimming pool is solely for the use of guests who are staying at Cuevas Helena Holidays. Guests will be expected to follow the pool safety rules provided. If guests fail to follow the pool safety rules, they will not be permitted to continue to use the pool.
We do require that you supervise your children at all times when they are in or around the swimming pool.

Pool opening times: 9.00am -9.00pm (We are flexible but the pool does need to be cleaned each day )

Smoking

This is a NO smoking property and NO smoking is permitted inside the Cave House. We have ashtrays for guests outside on the terraced areas.

 

Breakages

Any breakages we ask that you tell us at the time of the accident, please don’t attempt to repair any item yourself, please. Guests will not be asked to pay for breakages of small items such as the odd broken glass, however, breakages of a significant nature beyond the usual wear and tear expected will be expected to be reported, replaced or paid for. The ‘ guest party’ leader will be the person held liable for replacement or payment of damage caused.

Amenities

Internet use

The internet connection is not suitable for heavy usage, fine for “normal” use – email, surfing etc. It cannot be used for video downloads or streaming or downloading large amounts of data. Or data deemed, pornographic or illegal. Due to the rural location of Cuevas Helena Holidays, on occasion, the internet connection can be affected by adverse weather conditions. We, therefore, can’t guarantee the availability of the internet connection.

Ironing

An iron and ironing board are provided and there is a washing machine for guests own use.

Towels

Hand, bath and pool towels are provided. Hand and bath towels are not for use outside of the holiday accommodation. Pool towels can be taken off-site.

Linen

One set of bed linen is provided for each required bed. Those on a two-week or more stay will have further linen provided for each successive week, you have the choice of Cuevas Helena changing your bedding or if prefer to respect your privacy you can change the linen yourself up to each individual guest.

Cleaning

Cleaning will take place, before and after holiday rental period.

Liability

Cuevas Helena Holidays accepts no responsibility for damage to personal property brought into the premises in it’s communal grounds.
Cuevas Helena Holidays cannot be held responsible for the failure of public services (e.g. water, gas, electricity etc) or any disturbance, which is beyond their control.
We cannot be held responsible for any ‘acts of god’ for example floods, earthquake or other.
It is the guest’s parties responsibility to make all other arrangements for their holiday for example booking of airline tickets and car hire.
Guests are expected to take due care and attention to maintain their own health and safety, whilst staying in the Cave House. Guests will be expected to not to put themselves or others at risk of injury or harm, due to lack of due care and attention. All children and vulnerable adults must be supervised and supported by the adults and responsible individuals in the guest party.
Again it is strongly recommended that guests take out full holiday insurance cover.

Complaints

The proprietors of Cuevas Helena Holidays will do their utmost to ensure your rental accommodation not only meets but exceeds your expectations. If for any reason you have cause for complaint, this complaint needs to brought to our attention immediately during your stay, so that action can be taken to rectify the issue straight away. We do not accept liability for complaints made after the end of your holiday rental, all complaints need to be reported during your holiday rental and if not rectified to your satisfaction during your stay, put into writing within 28 days of completion of your holiday rental. If necessary your complaint will be referred to a 3rd party for investigation and response.
